In the work Afromantics Linde uses mass cultural icons, revamped into a historically manipulated narrative. Contemporary western ideas of Paradise and The Good Life collide with histories gruesome facts of slavery, apartheid and racism.

Makode Bah Linde is a legendary artist and club organizer, based in Stockholm. At the moment the work Afromantics is exhibtied at Åland Art Museum and this fall Linde will tour the world with artist duo Assume Vivid Astro Focus.
