Trialog

The Bergen (NO) based gallery space Entrée has temporarily moved into Platform Stockholm and is presenting the experimental exhibition Trialog by Magnhild Øen Nordahl and Omar Johnsen. Here the sculptural works of Magnhild Øen Nordahl will for the first time merge with sound by Omar Johnsen. The artists are exploring space and structures through their own craftsmanship.

Welcome to the Vernissage this Friday at 8!

Magnhild Øen Nordahl is currently doing a master degree at the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm. Nordahl works with sculpture that derives from existing architecture, and deals with issues like form vs. function, mechanics, industrial development, craft and the role of the craftsman.

Omar Johnsen is a member of the Bergen (NO) based electro-pop band Casiokids, touring internationally since 2008. The band works on the borderline to performative art. Johnsen has lately been investigating the craftsmanship of building analogue modular electronic synthesizers, and is for this occasion exploring the concept of plate reverb.
